Topics of our seminar are the experiment and simulation on the albumin adsorption on the gold surface by using SPREETATM that is an optical biosensor based on the surface plasmon resonance (SPR) principle. In the first part, we will introduce the biosensor and simulation program. In the second part, we will study the basic principles for the SPR and the mass transport theory. In the last part, we will discuss the experiment and simulation result of the adsorption albumin. 1. Introduction to the biosensor and simulation program. 1.1. SPREETATM Evaluation kit (Mar. 30, 2002). [ PPT ] 1.2. Simulation program (Apr. 6, 2002). [ PPT ] 2. Basic principles 2.1. Surface plasmon resonance (Apr. 13, 2002). [ PPT ] 2.2. Mass transport theory (Apr. 27, 2002). [ PPT ] 3. Discussion on the experiments and simulation 3.1. Effect of the mass transport on the flow rate (May 4, 2002). [ PPT ] 3.2.
